Our annual “Get The Scoop” ice cream social and fundraiser is coming up on May 4! This year we will welcome back from Kenya our executive director, Carol Erickson, and a special guest: Barbara Dundon. Barbara is an independent audio producer who recently visited the Imara House in Nanyuki. She came back to the U.S. with a set of stunning audio interviews with the girls, which tell their stories as you’ve never heard hem before: in their own words and in their own voices!

Carol Erickson is Executive Director of Imara International. She will return to the United States to update the community on the progress of the girls and their babies, recent mission trip visits, and the upcoming expansion activities in Nanyuki.
Barbara Dundon, audio journalist, is the owner of I’m Tellin’ Ya! /real life stories. She was the Executive Director at Need in Deed and has over a 40+ years history in non-profit management. She spent two weeks at the Imara House in January 2014 recording six audio stories of Imara moms, which she will share with everyone at the Get the Scoop III event.
